Getting Started
Welcome! At Oak Creek BMX one of the things we love most is introducing new riders to the sport of BMX Racing. It is sport for all ages and skill levels, and races are grouped by age and proficiency (Novice/Intermediate/Expert). We know that it can be intimidating in the beginning and that's why we're here to help guide new riders to ease in - or race in - at their own speed.
For those that are brand new to BMX, here is a step by step guide with available options for getting started.

One Day Pass
Those brand new to track riding may want to try it out as our guest. As a USA BMX sanctioned track, Oak Creek BMX invites any new interested rider to take advantage of a USA BMX FREE - One Day Pass. Register for your pass on site any of the days that we are open for practice or racing. We do suggest that brand new riders get there early, especially if borrowing one of our loaner bikes and gear.
Thursday evening is ideal for a new rider to try out the track, as it's a practice night with time slots based on skill. However, those that want to race right out of the gate are welcome to while using their pass.
Helmets, long sleeves, and long pants are required by all riders, gloves are recommended!
